Oh goodness yes. I've spent too long on committees that default to ignoring anything the women say, even when they're saying the same thing, with more research each time, in different ways over a couple of years. It always ends with either outright ignoring, or being told there's no time to talk about it/we'll talk about it offline/later and then never doing it; then as soon as older male joins the group and makes the suggestion it's jumped on immediately as a shiny brilliant thing and let's do it right now! So you end up with the impression that you might as well not say anything about anything because it's a waste of breath.
